How much does a website cost?
There’s no build fee for accepted applications. You commit to 12 months of Sprint Start Managed: £49 a month, or £480 paid up front each year. The 12 months start when your website goes live. Your domain, business email and agreed extras are separate.
Why is there no build fee?
Instead of a big bill up front, you pay a monthly fee for hosting, updates and support. It spreads the cost and keeps us looking after your site. We confirm everything in writing before you decide.
How long does it take?
Allow around four weeks from the agreed start date, once we have the information, files and access we need.
Do I own my website?
Your domain stays in your name. For £0 Build websites, ownership transfers once the first 12 months and any other build amounts are paid in full. Your own content is always yours.
Can I make changes to my website?
Yes. Sprint Start Managed includes 30 minutes of updates each month. The time doesn’t roll over. New pages and bigger changes are quoted separately.
Why do I need website hosting?
Hosting is what keeps your website online. It covers the technology, security and maintenance needed to keep your website available whenever customers visit. Without hosting, your website can’t be seen on the internet.
Sprint Start Managed includes hosting, automated downtime and error monitoring, technical maintenance and recovery support, plus up to 30 minutes of updates each month. The £0 build needs an initial 12 month Sprint Start Managed commitment.
What if I already have a domain?
No problem. If you already own a domain, we’ll use it. If you don’t, we’ll help you choose and register one in your name.
What happens after it goes live?
Every website includes a 30 day defect warranty. With Sprint Start Managed, you also get ongoing hosting, monitoring, maintenance and recovery support. Up to 30 minutes of updates each month and direct support help keep your website useful as your business grows.
